Rogers City*

(from the documentary film "November Requiem")

Description: piano, guitar, and orchestra; country-style melody.
On November 18, 1958, tragedy befell a northern Michigan community with the sinking of the freighter Carl D. Bradley. A Lake Michigan storm claimed the lives of 23 sailors sons from their small town alone (out of a total of 33 victims). This music is taken from the main title sequence, a montage of modern-day scenes depicting the quiet rural life along the shores of Lake Huron.
